my license is supposed to be suspended from a motorcycle accident with no insurance. how do i get it back?
Question by mike: my license is supposed to be suspended from a motorcycle accident with no insurance. how do i get it back?
my license is going to be suspended for 1 year. i was not at fault in the accident. i suffered a fractured pelvis and there was more than a couple thousand dollars in damages. the person in the car i hit was not injured i did not carry insurance on the motorcycle at the time of the accident and have since sold the bike. the police report shows it was 100% not my fault. and the driver of the car received a ticket for illegally crossing lanes and causing the accident. i no longer drive a motorcycle and now drive my car with valid insurance.
what are my options to getting my license back?
what is the best way to go about getting a decision in my favor in a dmv hearing?
the suspension takes effect on october 23rd

If you “now drive a car with vaild insurance” AND your license has been suspended, I seriously doubt if you are going to get it back – especially if you get caught. Use your head about this situation. You’ll have to catch rides with someone or take a bus or something for the time being. During this time, you should start by contacting the police station and ask for their opinion regarding what you can do to get your license back. They may know. Or you can try contacting the DMV. If anyone should know, it would be them.
